40,000 BARRELS OF BEER.
AND A GLASS EYE.
Back in 1895, Julius Lehrkind was busy turning out 40,000 barrels of beer a year in his Bozeman Brewery. But now and again he was also known to cause a little ruckus in a local bar. As the story goes, Julius ended up with a glass eye after one of those bar fights went sideways.
Julius’ story is not only a true tale of an American pioneer but the inspiration for our new series of Glass Eye beer, now in 12 oz. cans.
